Halagad Ventor

Halagad Ventor was a Jedi Knight from Alderaan during the waning days of the Old Republic. As a youth, studying the ways of the Jedi, Halagad pursued many disciplines as well as building up his physical stature as well. However, since Halagad spent so much time studying so many different areas of study, it was rare to find one in which he was a master. But this was Halagad's choice and soon it became time for Halagad to seek out a Master. However, during Halagad's time, Master's without apprentices looking to train one were becoming more and more rare. Dark times had engulfed the galaxy and the Jedi Masters Halagad did find always explained to him that his heart was traveling in too many directions at once and that he needed to learn control.

Nonetheless, Halagad did find someone willing to take him on as an apprentice: Jedi Master Everen Ettene. But Ventor's apprenticeship left him lacking as he learned little and focused more on raw uses of Force powers. Even still, Halagad accompanied his Master, along with Jedi Master Ludwin Katarkus and respective student Danyawarra to serve as mediators in the Virgillian Civil War, in which the Virgillian Free Alignment group was at war with the planet's Aristocracy. The groups had been feuding for two years by the time Halagad and the Jedi conducted their mission.

However, before the Jedi could begin their mission, their ship was attacked and destroyed on the planet. Jedi Masters Ettene and Katarkus, along with Danyawarra, were all killed in the attack. Halagad was the only one to survive and attended the memorial services to his Master and the other fallen Knights at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Later, Halagad went on to serve in the Clone Wars when turmoil engulfed the galaxy once again. Serving under General and Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi, Halagad proved himself to be a noble warrior. But when Emperor Palpatine took control of the galaxy and began the Jedi Purge, Halagad was hunted and captured by Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader.
